Its not the first pick that usually wins you fantasy football leagues, no... its those sleepers you find very late in the draft and in free agency. Here are a few this year
Quarterback -
Matt More : The thing I like the most about Matt More is that he doesnt make those critical mistakes. The man can win games. In fact, he has won 6 of the 8 games he has started. He is in a contract year, He wants those big bucks!!
The Panthers have one of the best running games in the NFL so its impossible for them to just focus their attention fully on Matt. His offensive line is okay, its not great by any means but he is a mobile player and can make plays with his feet. I believe he has the best bang for buck out of the QBs this year... Really cheap and he will get you points. Im not saying start him every week, but he will suprise you every once in a while.
Running Back-
Beanie Wells: Chris "Beanie" Wells, what not to love about this guy? Hes huge and fast. He can run you over or run right past you. Towards the end of the season he started getting more carries and it payed off. The Cardinals QB situation is so messed up right now that Beanie is going to be relied on. Hightower is usually the guy to get the short yards in the goal line, but I see that changing this year. There is a reason Wells was a number one draft choice, I think were going to see it this year when he hits double digit touchdowns and over a 1,000 yards rushing.
Wide Receiver:
Devon Bess: With Greg Carmillo traded to the Vikings, it looks like best will be a starting WR on the opposite side to Marshall. Bess is a very fast and talented player. I have watched him for years and like what I have seen. He caught 76 passes last year. I see him getting even more this year. I am really high on Devon Bess.
TEAM BESS!
Luis Murphy: I dont know to much about this guy, but he is already looking like Jason Campbells favorite target. The few chances I got to see him play last year, he impressed me. I can see him getting 80 catches this year with about 4 or 5 touchdowns. Thats really good considering he is an Oakland player. Hopefully Heyward-bay will mature a little and open up the field for other players.
Tight End:
Brandon Pettigrew: This man was a FREAK in college. I think his second year in the NFL will be a good one. Stafford looks like he is going to be better and with Pettigew fully healed, he is primed to get some catches. I am not COMPLETELY sold on this though. Thats why I think in some leagues he will be available in the free agency. He is good to have on a roster incase of an injury.
